The Swarovski Cristal world – Wattens
Wattens is home to magnificent treasures of crystal. The crystalline treasures are guarded by the water-spouting head of an alpine giant. After passing the giant at the entrance to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, children and parents discover the sparkling treasures of crystal in the subterranean interactive exhibition. Goldenes Dachl
The “Museum Goldenes Dachl” is the memorial to Emperor Maximilian I (1459 – 1519), who was one of the most important personalities in Europe. He left numerous traces in his favorite city of Innsbruck, from which the Golden Roof became the landmark of the city of Innsbruck.
A highlight of the museum is its tangible proximity to the Golden Roof.
Hofburg
1754 under Empress Maria Theresia after plans of J.M. Gumpp built in place of the Gothic castle built by Maximilian I. Magnificent giant hall with paintings by Maulpertsch. Museum with gothic cellar.
Triumphpforte
Built in 1765 under Empress Maria Theresa on the former city boundary from the stones of the suburban gate. Monument commemorating the marriage of Peter Leopold with Maria Ludovica of Spain. North side Portrait of the Emperor Franz I, who died in Innsbruck
